Preparing students for summative assessments can be a daunting task for teachers. It often involves a great deal of planning, preparation, and review of the curriculum, which can be time-consuming and stressful. Join Lauren Boucher for this hands-on, interactive workshop as she shares strategies to help teachers plan, design, and facilitate engaging and effective lessons and activities that will take the pain out of test prep. Participants will also walk away with a bevy of ideas and resources that they can implement quickly and easily the very next day!

Lauren Boucher is a Regional Digital Teaching and Learning Consultant for the state of North Carolina and a former Instructional Technology Specialist with Pitt County Schools. She has taught third grade, as well as elementary and middle school gifted education.

Special Technology Instructions
Participants will need access to an internet device, a non-school, personal Google account. SimpleK12’s Google Classroom will be utilized for the interactive and hands-on components of this workshop.
Assessment
Participants will have collaboration and sharing opportunities throughout the workshop to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objectives and reflect on their learning.
