Many of our learners struggle with the vocabulary or CALPS (Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency Skills) when learning Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math (STEAM) and History. Join Shelly Sanchez Terrell as she shares how we can use web tools and apps to help students visualize, contextualize, and personalize their learning. You will also learn a variety of strategies that can help simplify the language and support students who struggle in STEAM and History.

- Design a content-specific STEAM or History lesson that incorporates strategies that can help simplify the language and support students who struggle with vocabulary or CALPS.
