Bitmojis are free cartoon avatars that are a fun, practical way to infuse your personality into digital and print learning materials. Join Lauren Boucher for this collaborative, hands-on workshop as she shares strategies to leverage the power of Bitmoji and start your school year off right! From behavior management to organization, Lauren will share ideas and templates galore! Participants will also have an opportunity to create their own personalized Bitmoji and make-and-take a variety of classroom resources that will increase student engagement.

Lauren Boucher is a Regional Digital Teaching and Learning Consultant for the state of North Carolina and a former Instructional Technology Specialist with Pitt County Schools. She has taught third grade, as well as elementary and middle school gifted education.
Objectives
- Design learning materials and other classroom resources (print and digital) using personalized Bitmoji.
Special Technology Instructions
Participants will need access to an internet device and a non-school, personal Google account. SimpleK12’s Google Classroom will be utilized for the interactive and hands-on components of this workshop.
Assessment
Participants will share their Bitmoji creations and implementation ideas to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objective and reflect on their learning.
