Public libraries can provide students, teachers, and families with so much more than access to books, research materials, and a place to work or study. Join Michelle Dragalin as she shares how libraries can engage students over the summer by providing active learning experiences that are positive, experiential, educational, but most importantly, fun! You will also learn tips for helping students obtain their first library card and gain access to some of the lesser-known resources that their local libraries have to offer.

Megan Fuciarelli serves as the Executive Director and Principal Consultant of US2, Inc., a consulting agency focused on social justice and educational equity. Before becoming a consultant, Megan served as a classroom teacher, Spanish teacher, bilingual reading specialist, assistant principal, principal, director of curriculum/ELL, and assistant superintendent.
