How to Create Newsletters for the Classroom
There are many reasons why teachers like to create newsletters. There's no easier way to organize information, or keep students informed about what's going on in your classroom.
In the above 3-Minute Classroom Problem Solver video, SimpleK12 technology trainer Monica Burns explains how to create newsletters on your Mac or iPad with Pages.
Pages for Mac is a powerful word processor that gives you everything you need to create documents that look beautiful. And read beautifully. – About Pages
Pages is part of the iOS Suite, which is available with your Mac computer. There's also an app available on the iOS store.
Watch how Monica easily selects a template to work off of, and fills in all necessary information with a few clicks. What I love about Pages is that you can create a newsletter quickly and simply by using all of the pre-filled design elements, but you can also take more time to customize the colors and fonts. So whether you're looking for something quick and easy, or more custom, you can use the same tool to meet your needs.
What are some of the reasons you create newsletters in the classroom? Tell me about them in a comment on this article.
